Attendance at some of the world’s leading innovation events is part of Ryto’s plan to remain strategic for its customers.<\/h2>\n <\/div>\n

During the year, our partners Caroline Frass\u00e3o and Daniela Leiras went to at least three countries other than Brazil to see what was new, such as Portugal, France and Luxembourg.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n<\/div>

At Rio Innovation Week<\/strong>, in addition to the panel mediated by Caroline on international entrepreneurship, we supported the participation of 7 clients as panelists at the event in Rio de Janeiro. She was also at the French Senate to accompany the participation of one of Ryto’s clients, Simplex, in the Latin America Forum<\/strong> on innovation and digital strategy in the region. <\/p>\n

At “Women in Politics & Policy Making”,<\/strong> held at the Goethe-Institut in Lisbon, Caroline shared experiences and stories with those who work in both politics and public policy making<\/strong>. A spotlight on women’s leadership to shape a more inclusive future. <\/p>\n

In the midst of her constant presence at innovation events, Daniela Leiras was one of the interviewees at FBE<\/strong> Sessions, a series of talks by the institution that promotes entrepreneurship across borders and which, in this edition, addressed the topic of women in technology. Check out some of the trends identified by our women in tech at important events in the sector, such as Web Summit Rio, Viva Tech and Influent Summit:<\/strong> <\/p>\n <\/div>\n<\/div>\n

1- AI and Ethics<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

At the Rio Web Summit, the discussion on transparency in the development and use of AI systems pointed to the importance of ensuring responsibility and accountability at all stages, from data collection to the implementation of algorithms.<\/p>\n\n

2- Digital sustainability<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

This theme featured prominently among the discussions at the event, with strategies being shared to reduce the environmental impact of technology and promote digital inclusion. From the transition to renewable energies and the search for energy efficiency, through the use of blockchain to trace the origin of renewable energy to the application of AI to optimize energy consumption, innovative solutions were abundant. <\/p>\n\n

3- Blockchain and Cryptoassets<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

There is growing acceptance and adoption of blockchain and cryptocurrencies in a variety of industries. From payment solutions to transparent supply chains, the possibilities offered by the technologies were widely explored at the Rio Web Summit. <\/p>\n\n

4- Digital Health<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

The pandemic has accelerated the adoption of digital health solutions, speeding up the radical transformation that digital health is bringing to the way we diagnose, treat and manage diseases. And with this, the creation of health tracking apps and state-of-the-art telemedicine technologies is gaining ground. <\/p>\n\n

5 – Feeling AI on your skin<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

Viva Tech particularly highlighted innovations in the field of AI, such as demonstrations of bio-printed cells that replicate human skin and prosthetic hands that mimic human movements. Japan was the country of the year, standing out with SusHi Tech (Sustainable High City Tech Tokyo), an innovative concept that combines technology and sustainability. <\/p>\n\n

Brazil was represented by a delegation of 9 startups, selected by ApexBrasil, whose mission is to bring companies with the potential to open operations in France or other countries in Europe. The event reached 2 billion people via social networks in 2024, twice as many as the previous year. There were 13,500 startups taking part, 20% more than in 2023. <\/p>\n\n

6 – Digital money<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

Since 2019, in just five years, cash has accounted for almost half of all transactions in Brazil, rising to just over 20% last year.\nAt this rate, it is expected that less than 10% of transactions in the country will be made in cash by 2027. One of the highlights of Rio Innovation Week was an exclusive panel with leaders from the brand new financial market – 3 Ryto clients – to talk about digital transformation in areas such as Open Finance, Payments and Credit.<\/p>\n\n

7 – Leap forward in the personalization of banking services<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

The panel went on to delve into the opportunity that fintechs will have to offer an even more personalized service. Just as Netflix suggests what movie to watch tonight based on what you like, technology will also be able to suggest how money will work most efficiently during the month, according to your profile. <\/p>\n\n

The information won’t just be transactional, it will help people to better manage their financial lives, build their reserves and prepare for the future.<\/p>\n\n
