7 Ryto clients star in Rio Innovation Week

Here at Ryto, positioning clients as protagonists in strategic events also means working on communication. At Rio Innovation Week 2024, 7 of them participated prominently in panels on fintechs, international entrepreneurship and female leadership.
The panel “National and international markets: the challenges and opportunities for entrepreneurs inside and outside Brazil”, held on August 14, 2024, was moderated by our partner Caroline Frassão, who has lived between Brazil and Luxembourg for four years.
The meeting was an opportunity to share our views on global business in an even more special way: live, alongside three Ryto clients at the same time. Executives who experience Brazil’s connection with the world every day.
The panel included Gui Athia, an international consultant in Corporate Governance, Stakeholder Relations and ESG, based in Portugal; João LEE, CEO of Simplex, who operates in different countries, such as Brazil and France; and Freto CEO Thomas Gautier, who is French, has been in Brazil for over a decade and is an entrepreneur in the logtech area.
The panel provided insights into cultural differences, regulatory issues and, of course, a lot of dedication to innovation.
Is the money gone? No, he just changed
The second panel with Ryto customers at Rio Innovation Week brought together leaders from the brand new financial market to talk about digital transformation in areas such as Open Finance, Payments and Credit.
Since 2019, in just five years, cash has accounted for almost half of all transactions in Brazil, rising to just over 20% last year. At this rate, it is expected that less than 10% of transactions in the country will be made in cash by 2027.
The panel “Digital transformation – how fintechs are reinventing financial services” took place on August 16 and was a chat by journalist Tânia Magalhães with Bruno Loiola, Co-Founder of Pluggy; Edisio Neto, CEO of Zro Bank; and Marcelo Torres, Operations Director at Segue Financeira.
The Director of Cyber and Technology Insurance at Howden Brasil, Marta Schuh, also took part in a conversation about inspiring stories of women who have reached leadership positions, overcoming challenges and providing innovation, in the panel “Women Leaders: Trajectories of Success and Innovation”.
I believe that stories like ours can inspire other women to pursue their goals and promote diversity in corporate environments.
